SMC works on several sites in DR Congo where we do the following activities:
Exploration
SMC SARL has its own concessions. To guarantee the growing demand over the years, the company also signed long-term partnership contracts with holders of mining rights.
Mining
SMC SARL finances and supports cooperatives of artisanal miners. Depends of project, the company also invests in mechanized, semi-industrial and industrial mining in the various concessions where it holds mining rights.
Processing
SMC SARL processes ores minerals to produce marketable concentrates according to buyers' requirements. The company processing plants facilitate the upgrading of ores and the packaging of concentrates for export.
Trading
SMC SARL sells on international market, minerals produced in its own concessions and those purchased locally from artisanal cooperatives, traders, comptoirs and other dealers in the region.
